Press Release:

The Sterling Playmakers are busy in rehearsal for the summer musical, Annie. Featured in the title role is Michelle Viljoen as the beloved depression-era orphan, Annie, who is seeking her parents along with the help of her dog, Sandy. She has to foil the evil plots of Miss Hannigan (Karlah Louis), Rooster (Pete Edivan) and Lilly (Danica Shook) before she is adopted by Oliver "Daddy" Warbucks (Rick DeLisi), assisted by his secretary Grace (Nancy DuPlissey). Along the way, Annie meets Franklin D. Roosevelt (Peter Engel), First Lady Eleanor (Joni Carluzzo), and FDR's cabinet, lifting their spirits by singing the inspiring song, "Tomorrow." Besides these characters there are many other orphans, servants, Rockettes, newsboys, New York and Hooverville residents. This Tony Award-winning show is a must-see for families, and provides great songs with an upbeat, happy ending.
